Webinar on Funding for Rural Libraries

The American Library Association Washington Office has announced that on Friday, October 29 there will be a webinar to assist rural libraries with pursuing funding opportunities from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.  The presenters are Cheryl Cook, Rural Development Deputy Under Secretary of Agriculture; Carla anderson, Senior Vice President and CEO of e-Copernicus, a Washington consulting firm expert in broadband; and Kevin Cherry, Senior Program Office for IMLS's Office of Library Service.

The presenters will discuss USDA programs with funds available for rural libraries.  The webinar is scheduled from 2 to 3 p.m. ESTClick here to register for the webinar.
