On Monday, October 3, 2016, beginning at 10:00 AM in the Pinon Room, located at 1209 Camino Carlos Rey, Santa Fe, NM 87507, the Department of Cultural Affairs’ New Mexico State Library Division will hold a public hearing on the proposed repeal and replace of NMAC 4.5.7 Requirements Governing Conduct of and Use by Patrons at the New Mexico State Library.  The purpose of the hearing is to provide interested individuals an opportunity to orally present their views on the proposed rule revision.   Written comments may also be hand delivered to the State Library reference desk or sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. A copy of the proposed rule may be obtained from the Public Services Bureau at the New Mexico State Library reference desk, located at 1209 Camino Carlos Rey, Santa Fe, or by calling the reference desk (505) 476-9702, or by clicking here .

If you are an individual with a disability who is in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aid or service to attend or participate in the hearing, please contact the Public Services Bureau at 505-476-9702 at least one week prior to the hearing or as soon as possible. Public documents, including the proposed rule revision or minutes of the hearing, can be provided in various accessible formats.
