El Portal
El Portal is a collection of databases which provide access to magazine and journal articles for all New Mexicans 24/7 from home, office, or public, academic, and school libraries statewide. 

Newsbank provides access to some New Mexico newspapers.
 
The Subject Guide includes links to reputable state, federal and non-state websites with reliable state information.

In-library databases

The following databases are available only at the State Library. Come in to use them, or call the Reference Desk 476-9702 to request quick searches.

  • Digital Sanborn Maps (New Mexico) -- Available in Southwest Room only

  • Ancestry Library Edition -- Available in Southwest Room only
  • New York Times Digital Microfilm
  • JSTOR - full text articles in the humanities
  • Westlaw – searchable access to New Mexico Statutes Annotated, New Mexico Administrative Code, American Jurisprudence and U.S. Code Annotated.
