A Sept. 27, 2014 Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day brought in hundreds of tons of unwanted prescription drugs. In Doña Ana County, 1,281 pounds unused prescription drugs were collected. -- 11/17/14

White Sands Missile Range was recognized at this year's Secretary of the Army Energy and Water Management Awardsheld Oct. 29 at the Pentagon.
