
Summer Reading Program 2020
The New Mexico State Library proudly supports summer reading programs at public libraries throughout the state. As a member of the Collaborative Summer Library Program, NMSL sponsors public libraries membership to join in this national consortium. The 2020 theme is folktales/fairy tales/fantasy/mythology with a slogan of Imagine Your Story for all age groups.
Summer 2020 been reimagined! Libraries are offering online, virtual programming and curbside service for books and reading logs. The State Library along with the New Mexico Library Foundation is offering free, online programming along with an online reading log for participating libraries. In 2019 parents & caregivers returned impact surveys to 54 public libraries around the state, according to these surveys they reported their child(ren)'s:
