Library Science Graduate Education Programs

E-mail Print

There are no ALA accredited graduate library science programs in New Mexico.

Several universities, however, offer distance education opportunities for obtaining a library science graduate degree. Some require on-campus visits, but several are entirely online with no face-to-face coursework required.  To get a listing by state, visit:  ALA Directory of Accredited Programs by State .

Please follow this link to get to the American Library’s Association’s website for a Directory of Institutions Offering ALA-Accredited Master's Programs in Library and Information Studies: http://www.ala.org/ala/accreditation/lisdirb/lisdirectory.cfm

Through the Western Interstate Commission on Higher Education’s (WICHE), New Mexico residents may enroll in graduate programs, paying reduced levels of tuition. For more information, visit http://www.wiche.edu/ .
