Did you know that:

...the Southwest Collection houses resources for researching New Mexico family histories and individual biographies?

...the State Library subscribes to most New Mexico newspapers, and that you can look at issues on microfilm going as far back as the 1850s?

...researchers can also find resources that provide historical context for political trends and controversies?

...the State Library collects all sorts of maps including topographical, historical, and census maps?

The State Library is offering morning and afternoon sessions on Wednesday, September 29 where you can learn about these and other New Mexico and Southwest resources.

The sessions will be identical in content, so you can register for either session to learn about the maps and historical resources available to you.

Session 1 – Wednesday, September 29, 9:30 – 12:00

Location : New Mexico State Library, 1209 Camino Carlos Rey, Santa Fe NM, 87507
