The State Library began collecting and preserving local materials since 2003. We are using CONTENTdm, a digital archiving service for harvesting and preserving documents.
There are two main collections in the collection. They contain state or federal government documents ranging from Legislative Orders and Fish Stocking Reports, to traffic pattern maps. All work with the digital archive is carried out by the Library's Technical Service Bureau.
The digital archive is a work in progress, and future projects will highlight many of the special collections here at the State Library.
