  • Please do not come to the bookmobile if you are sick in any way.
  • One family or two people will be allowed on board at a time. If possible, place your requests in advance to help us reach everyone who wants to use bookmobile services.
  • The bookmobile is not accepting donations currently.

If you have items currently checked out and cannot visit the bookmobile to return them to us, you may request a return merchandise card from USPS. Temporary Books-By-Mail

Bookmobile West will send books by mail from our collection to bookmobile patrons. View the online catalog at https://rbm.nmstatelibrary.org. Place a hold on items you would like to receive and a staff member will contact you to confirm and send your items. Contact the bookmobile office for assistance to log in to the catalog.

Career Online High School

Career Online High School is a new educational service offered by the Rural Services Program of the New Mexico State Library.  The program offers adults (19 plus years of age) the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and entry level career certificate at the same time. In this new program provided by the bookmobile, qualified and successful student applicants will receive one free full tuition scholarship from the library.  Visit https://nm.careeronlinehs.org/ and click on "Get Started."
